Claire, who stayed at Daphne’s Club in January 2007, suggests a visit to a miniscule monastery built inside the rocks, called “Panagia tou Vrachou” (Madonna of the rock). You can visit it on your way from Karia to Feneos. At the village Kato Tarsos turn right and follow the signs up the mountain.
Ekrem, who stayed at Daphne's Club in April 2007 suggests a trip to Loutraki & cape Iraion. From there, you have a clear view of the opening of the Isthmus channel, the man-made channel that now separates mainland Greece from the Peloponnese. To get to Loutraki from Daphne's Club follow the coastal road to Corinth, then continue along the seafront to the spa town of Loutraki. Visit the source of the famous water "Loutraki", then continue East towards cape Iraion.
Ekrem also suggest a trip up to Akrokorinthos, the ancient fortress of Corinth, which was inhabited by all of the area's invaders.
John and Sheila, who stayed at Daphne's Club in May 2007 suggest a visit to Ancient Corinth. The area's most important archeological site is set in a picturesque modern Greek village, where you can have a quiet lunch after you have visited the site. The views of Akrokorinthos and the sea below are also quite spectacular!
John and Sheila also suggest a visit to "Kallidorpio", a traditional bakery of organic goddies! "Kallidorpio" is in the village of Poulitsa. On your way to Corinth, follow the signs to your right towards Poulitsa, then stop at the second house on your left after the water tower.
And of course, dinner or lunch at "Neromilos" is highly recommended! You can see the water mill, and ask the owner to put it in motion for you! You will find "Neromilos" in the village of Anio Diminio. To get there follow the road to Kiato, then turn right, up the mountain, at the sign"Anio Diminio". A couple of kilometers later, at the sign "Neromilos", turn left towards the vineyards.

On their third day at Daphne’s Club, Pavlina, Thodoris, Lena, Xanthi, Dimitris and Giannis (otherwise known as the Thessaloniki team!) visited the archeological sites of Mycenae and Epidaurus.
On the next day they circled mount Ziria and visited lake Doxa.
And on their last day the crossed the impressive bridge of Rio (Patras)!
Claire came back to the hotel in February 2008 and visited the mountain village of Zarouchla and Lake Tsivlou. She told us that she loved the itinerary, a 1 and a half hour drive up the mountains and through the gorges South of Akrata. She was sorry she had not prepared a pick-nick basket full of goodies to enjoy by the lake, and fervently suggests that you do not make the same mistake!
